Large 1943 YMCA Map of Poland

Large 1943 YMCA Map of Poland

Mapa Polski - Large physical map of Poland produced for the YMCA in 1943. The map actually shows the pre-war (1939) borders of the country. At the conclusion of WW2, Poland's territory would shift westward and shrink a fair amount. Cities such as Lvov and Wilno are now in Ukraine and Lithuania.

The map has beautiful colors and highlights the physical changes in the country as you move from the Baltic Sea toward the Tatra Mountains in the south.

There are the standard wrinkles, small holes and tears along the edges of the map. None are serious. Will frame nicely.

Map measures 51" x 38" and will be delivered in a shipping tube.
