Map of Poland; 1923

Map of Poland; 1923

This great roll-up map found its way from America to Poland and now back again!

This map, dated 1923, was published by Dziennik Zwiazkonwy (Daily Polish Newspaper) for Zwiazek Narodowy Polski (Polish National Alliance), which offers insurance to Polish-American families. Both organizations still exist.

The map shows the borders of Poland as they existed in 1923. At that time the country was situated further east and occupied parts of modern Ukraine, Lithuania, and Latvia.

Wooden dowels at the top and bottom allow you to easily hang and display the map on any wall. The map is in good shape for being 91 years old. There is one small hole in the south of the country that has been repaired.
