This interesting artifact offers a more unusual display than other, more common models. It’s oceans are red rather than blue while the mounting consists of solid maple, offering the warmth of the Arts and Craft movement. Yet sleek and minimalistic in features, there is a feel of classic Mid Century Modern design. The half meridian is non-numeric and simplistic. A very handsome piece with masculine look. It will make a statement in a library or office! Politically the map identifies the dawn of the Cold War Era. Israel is present (1948) Korea is not yet divided (1953). Description: The 12 inch diameter orb is mounted into a solid maple, non-numeric half meridian, which is attached to a solid maple base. Land is displayed in beautiful bold colors while oceans are shown in a red with orange hue. Total height is about 17 inches. Condition: Superbly maintained, this artifact is in very good condition with minimal blemishes in form of scuffmarks to map and base. The map is crisp and detailed as ever, very well preserved. Please see photos for details   Well packed this artifact will ship domestic for $22.00, $65 world wide. $320          SKU 914CWCRRED50
