This 12" illuminated world globe dates to the late 1950s and would have been among the last globes to be made with a glass orb and paper gores. The globe has some heavy crazing in the finish, and a few pieces are missing from the map. Despite these imperfections, the globe has a beautiful look both illuminated and switched off.
