This Columbus Erdglobus is a stunning piece! The plaster orb measures 13" in diameter and is covered in 12 hand applied gores. The orb is surrounded by a half meridian made of brass and sits atop a rich walnut base. 

The globe dates to 1929 and shows the European borders as they stood before German annexation began in the 1930's. 

There are no major blemishes of any kind on the surface of the globe. This is truly a remarkable globe.
