This early slated map of Europe will stand out in any room! The borders of the countries help date the map to after Germany annexed Austria in the early 1930s but before the invasion of Poland and outbreak of World War 2 in 1939. Slated maps are often referred to as chalkboard maps, because you could write on the maps just like a chalkboard. Ive only ever seen one other similar map from the Universal Map Company. 

The map is in good shape for its age. The roller is currently stuck but I believe its an easy fix. The bands that you can see in the photos are from the map being rolled up for many years in storage. They are less noticeable in normal light. 

Map measures 58" x 48" and comes with its original wall bracket.
